When you join a poker game on this site, you may optionally provide:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your Venmo username

Your phone number is used solely to send you SMS text messages related to your active game session — specifically, a one-time rejoin code when you join and a login code if you request one. We do not use your phone number for marketing.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Name: displayed to other players at the table.
• Phone number: used to send transactional SMS messages (rejoin codes and one-time login codes) related to your game session. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with any third party.
• Venmo username: displayed to other players for the purpose of settling up after the game.

3. SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from settle.bet. These messages include:

• A rejoin code when you first join a game
• A one-time login code when you request one to rejoin a game

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message & data rates may apply.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any message we send. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. You can rejoin a game at any time using the code displayed on the join page.

4. Data Retention

Your information is retained for the duration of your active game session and removed when the game ends or is cleaned up. We do not maintain long-term profiles.

5. Third-Party Services

SMS messages are delivered via Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Notification Service (SNS). AWS may process your phone number to deliver messages. See the AWS Privacy Notice for details.
